SIP communications and Wireless communications are constantly evolving. The last 10 years has seen an explosion of innovation and development in these technologies. The Internet of Things (IoT) is rapidly becoming the newest and largest emerging technology. IoT allows objects and devices to be sensed and controlled remotely across existing network infrastructure.  This creates opportunities for more direct integration between the physical world and computer-based systems, and resulting in improved efficiency, accuracy and economic benefit.

 

• One of the most promising of the IoT technologies are Beacons. Beacons are a new class of low powered transmitters and sensors that can notify a Bluetooth enabled device of their presence and often provide sensory information applicable to their location.
