Ralph Widmar serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Network Intelligence. A 1978 graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in Communications and Marketing, he started his career with Mountain Bell and rose through corporate management with AT&T and Bell Labs. In early 1985, Mr. Widmar formed Network Intelligence, Inc. to provide consulting services to clients in the telecommunications industry. Network Intelligence focused on the nexus of technical and regulatory issues, and in 2007 began providing hosted and managed solutions for clients that optimize financial and service performance.
He has advised Regional Bell Operating Companies, Wireless providers, State, Federal, and International regulatory agencies, Internet Service Providers, Competitive Local Exchange Carriers, and Independent Local Telephone Providers. Clients include Alcatel, AT&T, the German Ministry of Posts and Telecommunication, the European Commission, the U.S. Justice Department, and the Federal Communications Commission.
He has extensive experience working with a host of Silicon Valley startup operations in the telecommunications space and has guided and supported many companies from founding to successful exits.
James Hash serves as the Chief Operating Officer for Network Intelligence and is the co-founder Network Intelligence’s managed services. He has more than 25 years experience as an executive and entrepreneur within the telecommunications and data networking industries. Mr. Hash began his career in Data Networking Sales within the Bell Operating System and moved to Operations as the Manager of Network Planning for Bank of America. He then became the Director of Marketing for Granger Associates, an early Silicon Valley telecommunications firm.
When DSC Communications acquired Granger Associates, Mr. Hash moved into Sales and Sales Management where he remained for the next 14 years. As the Area Vice President of Sales for Major Accounts, he developed several nationwide sales organizations and established Channel Sales, accounting for revenues in excess of $100m per year.
He also held the position of Vice President of Sales and Product Marketing for Redfern Broadband Networks and Vice President of Sales for Carrius Technologies.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Business Management from the University of Missouri, with extensive industry specific coursework at M.I.T.
